  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. Stop Attributing Rich People’s Success To Money Rituals – Shatta Wale Cautions Ghanaians

  Multiple award winning dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, has cautioned Ghanaians against criticising rich people. According to Shatta Wale in a video posted on his Instagram live page, Ghanaians should stop attributing rich people’s money to rituals because not all rich people got their monies through dubious means. “Ghana is full of hate. Stop the 'shadow boxing' and focus on ‘harvesting’ votes – Baako to NPP, NDC

  “What do they (NDC) want the independent auditor to do that the existing laws cannot do?” renowned journalist  Kweku Baako Jnr . has asked. The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is requesting an independent audit into the newly compiled voters’ register. This follows claims by the Electoral Commission (EC) that there are minors and foreigners among the 16.9 million persons registered to vote on December 7. Director of Elections of the NDC, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah at a Press conference in Accra cited multiple registrations as grounds for the independent audit. “...we’re reliably informed that the EC’s own Biometric system is defective and therefore de-duplicating registrants by itself,” he stated. Burna Boy boasts about Ghana on ‘The Breakfast Club’

  Burna Boy  heaped praise on Ghana in an interview he had with 'The Breakfast Club', an American syndicated radio show based in New York City. During the interview, Charlamagne tha God, one of the three hosts of the show, disclosed to  Burna Boy  that he has acquired a property in Ghana which is by the beach. He, however, indicated that the property is located in East Legon when  Burna Boy  asked if it was at Labadi. Burna Boy  told Charlamagne tha God that getting a property in Ghana is the best decision he [Charlamagne] has ever made. “Bro that’s the best decision you have ever made,”  Burna Boy  told Charlamagne tha God.
