GENERAL NEWS: Akufo-Addo to firm-up school reopening after Cabinet meeting on December 30

  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: 16-year-old musician Dhat Gyal headlines MTN FA Cup Awards.

16-year-old Ghanaian Afro dancehall musician Dhat Gyal headlined the 2017 MTN FA Cup Awards held in Accra on Wednesday night at the M Plaza Hotel.

The musician who has been nominated in the 2018 upcoming Ghana music awards under the unsung category performed to her popular mashups and single track titled "Any man na man".

Though the event was full of sports fans and people who have little interest in music, Dhat Gyal was able to get top executives of football dancing along her performance.

The seventh edition of the MTN FA Cup Awards was held at the M Plaza Hotel to honour outstanding and deserving players, coaches, match officials and other significant individuals in the sports fraternity.
