GENERAL NEWS: Akufo-Addo to firm-up school reopening after Cabinet meeting on December 30

  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. Government in July allowed final year students in the tertiary education institutions to complete their semester courses and wrote their exit examinations. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Marriages are breaking because men can’t lick their wives 'vagina' - Lutterodt.

Controversial Counsellor, Lutterodt has said that most break ups in marriages lately are caused by the inability of men to lick their wives because of the misconception that licking the v*gina causes throat cancer.

Doctors have said that licking the v*gina can cause throat cancer and therefore have advised against its practice.

But speaking on Accra-based Adom FM, Counsellor Lutterodt indicated that the vag*na can never cause throat cancer and therefore Doctors should put an end to that misconception.

According to him, the v*gina is very clean than the mouth and therefore cannot cause cancer of the throat contrary to claims by Doctors that it is a cause of throat cancer.

He indicated that licking the clitoris to stimulate women during s*xual intercourse can’t be the cause of throat cancer.

He used the opportunity to call on Ghanaian men to encourage licking of their wives during intercourse because it makes the act interesting.

GENERAL NEWS: Double Track System: Vacation classes to be held in churches – GES.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said it will organise extra classes to augment the regular double track system so that students on vacation can be engaged while they wait their turn to go to school.  Deputy Public Relations Officer of GES, Isaac Asiedu Odei disclosed to TV3 that the extra classes will be held in church halls, community centers and private schools across the country for students on vacation.  He explained that some church halls and community centres are already being used for extra classes as such the ministry will take advantage of the situation.  “You know we have a lot of church halls or community centres…it’s a temporary kind of structure and you know people are organising classes in some of these structures already and we can even take advantage of some private schools, when they close we can also go in there,” he explained.  Mr. Odei also disclosed that government is going to place about four teachers in “every district or...
