  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. Government in July allowed final year students in the tertiary education institutions to complete their semester courses and wrote their exit examinations. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: I’ve settled Joselyn Dumas – 3Music CEO.



Chief Executive Officer of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu has finally paid Actress Joselyn Dumas for hosting the event that took place in April, 2018.

In an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, the founder of the awards scheme claimed he has settled the undisclosed amount to the Television and radio personality for her work done at the maiden edition of the 3Music awards.

The actress on July 4 took to her Twitter handle to vent her spleen claiming that 3Music Awards has still not honored their end of the bargain after she undisputedly delivered nicely at the event. She also added that, working for them was not a pro-bono and therefore payment should be made as agreed.

She expressed her bitter thoughts on how the Ghanaian entertainment industry makes it difficult for celebrities to support their own.

“Dear @3musicAwards when you hire the service of a talent and you agree on a payment, you honor your end of the bargain as I honored mine…. no one works for free”

However, Sadiq, reacted that there have been loads of debt after the event and for the past three months, he and his crew have been considering how to pay these debts.

According to him, the several claims that emerged that he has blacklisted Joselyn Dumas was absolutely false. But he agreed on not paying her, which was not a deliberate act in any way.

3Music Awards scheme was launched in 2017 to celebrate our music legends. The maiden edition of the show was hosted by Joselyn Dumas and Dblack.
