GENERAL NEWS: Akufo-Addo to firm-up school reopening after Cabinet meeting on December 30

  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. Government in July allowed final year students in the tertiary education institutions to complete their semester courses and wrote their exit examinations. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Tracy and Titi Sarkcess look beautiful together in latest photo.

YEN.com.gh has sighted photos Tracy Sarkcess, wife of Africa’s ‘Highest’ rapper Sarkodie, and she is looking stunning.

Tracy is captured in an awesome moment with her daughter Titi, and mom and baby really look good together Apart from her dazzling beauty in the photos, another thing that caught YEN.com.gh’s attention is Tracy’s ring.

YEN cannot tell if it was deliberate or not but Tracy Sarkcess has posed in a way that her ring would never miss anyone’s attention.

In one of the photos, she has stretched only her ring finger on her daughter’s leg so that the ring was the only thing standing out.

Her posture looks very calm and there is a look of satisfaction on her face.

Tracey Sarkcess got married to her long-time boyfriend Sakordie after reportedly dating for fourteen years.

All that while, she was called a baby mama because she eventually bore a child for Sarkodie.

However, she is no longer known as baby mama, she is Mrs. Owusu-Addo, therefore, her satisfied look in the photo is simply appropriate.

Their star-studded wedding was held on July 21, 2018, following the customary marriage on July 17, 2018.


One thing that stood out at their wedding was the wedding cake which was captured descending from the ceiling.

Tracey herself was excited about the cake and called it ‘Africa’s first descending from the ceiling cake’.

However, a lady who claimed the hanging cake was her intellectual idea blasted the makers of Sarkodie’s wedding cake for stealing her concept.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said it will organise extra classes to augment the regular double track system so that students on vacation can be engaged while they wait their turn to go to school.  Deputy Public Relations Officer of GES, Isaac Asiedu Odei disclosed to TV3 that the extra classes will be held in church halls, community centers and private schools across the country for students on vacation.  He explained that some church halls and community centres are already being used for extra classes as such the ministry will take advantage of the situation.  “You know we have a lot of church halls or community centres…it’s a temporary kind of structure and you know people are organising classes in some of these structures already and we can even take advantage of some private schools, when they close we can also go in there,” he explained.  Mr. Odei also disclosed that government is going to place about four teachers in “every district or...

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Sarkodie declares Akwaboah as best song writer in Africa.

BET award winner, Sarkodie has eulogized his record label signee, Akwaboah as the best songwriter in Africa.  Akwaboah is noted to have written songs for renowned artistes in Ghana and even Africa.  He wrote Becca’s hit single ‘Daa ke Daa’ and ‘Ayeyi Ndwom’ by DSP kofi Sarpong among others.  Akwaboah who signed on Sarkodie’s record label ‘Sarkcess Music’ co-wrote and Produce Sarkodie’s 4th Album dubbed ‘Mary'  The singer cum songwriter whose real name is Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jr recently released his first album under Sarkcess music titled "Matters of the Heart”.
