GENERAL NEWS: Akufo-Addo to firm-up school reopening after Cabinet meeting on December 30

  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. Government in July allowed final year students in the tertiary education institutions to complete their semester courses and wrote their exit examinations. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Obibini is one of the best rappers in Africa – Sarkodie.

Support and endorsement in the music Industry from musicians to their colleagues is something we have all been seeking and waiting for long over the years.

Such initiative has vanished from the system, every Artist seem to think about themselves alone.

But Sarkodie, arguably one of the biggest exploit in rap music in the country has over the weekend blessed Zylofon Signee Obibini with amazing and encouraging words.

During the official launch of the STOP ROAD ACCIDENTS CAMPAIGN at the Kempinski Hotel, Sarkodie blessed Zylofon Music’s artist Obibini with powerful words as he said in a statement, Obinini’s name is definitely named as one of the best rappers in Africa.

“Obibini is one of the biggest rappers in Africa, No individual can downplay that or exclude his name. He is talented, I believe in him and endorse his talent”, he said.

Obibini and Sarkodie comes long from those years talking of 2008,2009 which Sarkodie took off the journey to another level.

Confirmation is that, the two gents are in the studio ‘cooking’ something for the fans, just watch out.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said it will organise extra classes to augment the regular double track system so that students on vacation can be engaged while they wait their turn to go to school.  Deputy Public Relations Officer of GES, Isaac Asiedu Odei disclosed to TV3 that the extra classes will be held in church halls, community centers and private schools across the country for students on vacation.  He explained that some church halls and community centres are already being used for extra classes as such the ministry will take advantage of the situation.  “You know we have a lot of church halls or community centres…it’s a temporary kind of structure and you know people are organising classes in some of these structures already and we can even take advantage of some private schools, when they close we can also go in there,” he explained.  Mr. Odei also disclosed that government is going to place about four teachers in “every district or...
