GENERAL NEWS: Akufo-Addo to firm-up school reopening after Cabinet meeting on December 30

  President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  is receiving briefings from  COVID-19  Technical Taskforce on limited school re-openings and would make a firm decision on school reopening in January 2021 after a Cabinet meeting on December 30, 2020. Addressing a news conference in Accra on  COVID-19  Updates on Tuesday, Information Minister,  Kojo Oppong Nkrumah , said the  COVID-19  Taskforce would work throughout the Christmas period to brief the President and analyse the impact of the  COVID-19  pandemic on students, during the limited school re-openings in July, August, September, and October, this year. Government in July allowed final year students in the tertiary education institutions to complete their semester courses and wrote their exit examinations. ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: SM militant buys a party bus for Shatta Wale ahead of his 'Reign' album.

Pope Skinny, a proud member of the Shatta Movement, generally classified as a Militant has bought a beautiful but expensive party bus for his boss, Shatta Wale, since he said so, only if their unpublicized business proceeds. And all these are preparations being made ahead of the Reign album as a way of promoting it.

Currently, Shatta Wala’s ‘Reign’ album is the only album which has received much promotion before it’s launch night/day.

Recently, a fan was reported to have created a look-alike statue of his king, Shatta Wale, and it quite promoted the album. Right after that, another report came through saying, a crazy fan has tattooed logo of Shatta’s ‘Reign’ album on her breast. And now an SM Militans buys a party buys, all ahead of the album.

Louis Awortwe came across this information on Pope Skinny’s Facebook timeline. From the photos he uploaded, indicating the appearance of the bus, which must be expensive, the bus is indeed a party bus, it’s just like my hall.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said it will organise extra classes to augment the regular double track system so that students on vacation can be engaged while they wait their turn to go to school.  Deputy Public Relations Officer of GES, Isaac Asiedu Odei disclosed to TV3 that the extra classes will be held in church halls, community centers and private schools across the country for students on vacation.  He explained that some church halls and community centres are already being used for extra classes as such the ministry will take advantage of the situation.  “You know we have a lot of church halls or community centres…it’s a temporary kind of structure and you know people are organising classes in some of these structures already and we can even take advantage of some private schools, when they close we can also go in there,” he explained.  Mr. Odei also disclosed that government is going to place about four teachers in “every district or...

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS: Sarkodie declares Akwaboah as best song writer in Africa.
